Igor Ledochowski’s Conversational Hypnosis claims to give you the ability to build rapport instantly and influence others to follow the directions we program into them through normal conversation. Having the ability to persuade anyone you meet to take the actions that you want them to, certainly sounds like an extraordinary ability – a little too extraordinary perhaps?

 

Anyone who works in business development or sales can certainly tell you some stories when it comes to tough clients. When we are trying to win a contract we are not dealing with the average person who can be easily “tricked” with the normal advertising “power” words that we see bantered all over the television such as “buy now” or “hurry while stocks last”. Many professionals thought this was quite an unethical use of hypnosis and as such the technique has been treated with scepticism and mystery. However conversational hypnosis is used quite heavily in our society. So much so that we are desensitised to when we are having our subconscious triggers activated.

 

We are all subconsciously programmed to trust “experts” or follow hot “trends” or buy when we believe we are receiving genuine value for our money. These are just a few examples of the social programming that we have all had ingrained within us since we could watch television or pick up a magazine. How often do we question these notions? Not often! We view them as common sense.

I used to think some people must be “naturals” when it comes to business and rapport building.
